Day By Day Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival Day.

You will be met at Kilimanjaro International Airport by the driver guide. The driver-guide will take you with a company’s car to Arusha town, a journey that takes about 45minutes. Arusha town is the gateway to trips towards different destinations found in the northern circuit.

The journey will end at Olerai Lodge which is 20km from Arusha City Town, it is where you will spend the night- BB.

Day 2: Arusha Town to Mto Wa Mbu.

Enjoy your breakfast at leisure in the hotel then after your driver guide will collect you and a trip to Mto Wa Mbu will for Cultural tour will begin. The distance from Arusha to Mto Wa Mbu is 126km which takes about 2hrs30.
Mto Wa Mbu Cultural Heritage Site, is the famous site in Arusha that has numerous activities done by the dwellers. Banana is one of the cash crop that is processed into Banana beer, enjoy the amazing taste of the traditional beer. There are a lot of cultural kind of art that will attract you, also the presence of 120 tribes in such a small area is what differentiates the area from others. It is also a home of ancient big baobab trees, visit Maasai boma and the activities conducted. Later you will be taken to Gibbs Farm for lunch.
After lunch you shall be transferred to the Eastern rim of Ngorongoro Crater to your place of accommodation, dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Serena Serena Lodge- FB.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater Tour.

Breakfast then with packed lunch drive to Ngorongoro Crater for a full day game drive.
Ngorongoro Crater, is the world largest caldera in the world found within Ngorongoro conservation area. The crater is the largest inactive volcanic caldera formed 2 to 3 million years ago. There volcanism goes back to the ancient periods and it is famous for its geology. The crater has approximately 25,000 large animals and over 500 bird species living in 30,000 hectares; lions, black rhinos, elephants and giraffes are present.

Later get back to Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge for dinner and overnight at – FB.

Day 4: Central Serengeti.

Breakfast then with picnic lunch boxes start a game drive en-route to Serengeti particularly at the Central part.
Serengeti National Park, the name of the park came after a Maasai local word “Siringet”. It covers 14,763sq km with beautiful images of acacia, riverine forests and endless woodland. Over 1.5 million blue wildebeest and 250,000 zebra and largest populations of lions are found each year in the park as a result of migration. The golden grassy plains are home to literally millions of animals. Huge herds of wildebeest, Zebra which form the core of the Great Migration in Central Serengeti.
Enjoy your tour until evening, dinner and overnight at Serengeti Ole Serai Camp- FB.

Day 5: Central Serengeti.

Breakfast then drive to Serengeti for a game drive until lunch time, get back at the camp for lunch then proceed with PM game drive.
Your route will be in the central Serengeti defined by the Seronera River. Have a spectacular view on the great herds of buffalo, smaller groups of elephant and giraffe, impala and gazelle. While at the central part of Serengeti you will observe the great migration of wildebeests and zebra in the months of May-July but also there is presence of game all year long.
Later in the evening you will be taken to Serengeti Ole Serai Camp for dinner and overnight FB.

Day 6: Lake Manyara National Park Tour.

In the morning the beautiful view of the sunrise will remark the commencement of a day trip to another destination. You will be collected from the hotel after a leisure breakfast with picnic lunch boxes, drive to Lake Manyara National Park via Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Lake Manyara National Park was established 1960 in Manyara region administered by Tanzania National Park Authorities. The majority of the land is a narrow strip running between the Gregory Rift wall to the west and Lake Manyara, an alkaline lake. As it is an alkaline soda lake, it attracts plenty of water birds like flamingoes and pelicans. Lake Manyara National Park is the most famous Park for the presence of tree climbing lions. Large herds of giraffes, gazelle and buffalos can be found in the grassy lake shores.

Dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge – FB.

Day 7: Lake Manyara Tour.

Breakfast at leisure, relax at the hotel until lunch time, enjoy your lunch then after drive to Lake Manyara for a game drive until evening.
The park is a protected area in Tanzania’s Arusha and Manyara Regions, situated between Lake Manyara and the Great Rift Valley. Moreover during your safari you will see variety of animals like elephants, monkeys, girrafes, zebras, leopards, impala, buffalos and cheetah. It is special for having hot water spring of 70o warm.

Day 8: Departure Day.

Enjoy the prepared breakfast at leisure then after a trip to Arusha Town 130km will commence. Arriving at Arusha town will give you a great chance to go for shopping, take lunch in a local restaurant. You will later be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your outbound flight.
