2 Days Impressive Trip to Mikumi Paradise

For one with a very short time and would like to experience Wildlife and nature, Mikumi National Park is your answer. It is nestled between Uluguru Mountain to the northeast, Udzungwa Mountains and the Rift Valley escarpment and to the south west as part of Selous ecosystem. Mikumi is the best for its highest game density of the entire conservation area.

Day By Day Itinerary

Day 1: Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park

Breakfast is served at the hotel, collect packed lunch and drive to Mikumi National Park for evening game drive.
The park itself is nestled between Uluguru Mountain to the northeast, Udzungwa Mountains and the Rift Valley escarpment. To the south west stands as part of Selous ecosystem, it benefits from the highest game density of the entire conservation area. This lies west of Dar es Salaam City and 107km from the nearest town named Morogoro. On the highway from Dar es Salaam to Zambia it covers an area of 3230km sq.
Lunch will be served enroute to the Park, dinner and overnight at Camp Bastian or similar Accommodation. – FB.

Day 2: Mikumi National Park to Dar Es Salaam

Breakfast is served at the Camp Bastian, followed by early morning game drive in Mikumi National Park. Early Hot lunch is served at the Camp, followed by a drive back to Dar es Salaam drop off at your hotel.
Mikumi Park has a huge concentration of animals, (Lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippopotamus, crocodiles, etc…)
