Day 1; Arrival at Entebbe – Protea Hotel.

Day to Day Itinerary.

Day 1: Arrive at Entebbe.

The guide will receive you at the Airport and transfer you to your hotel, the hotel is only 10 minutes from the airport. Enjoy the cool breeze from Lake Victoria at your place of accommodation.
Protea Hotel by Marriott Kampala is a 4-star hotel set 3km from Owino market, has got a hospitable 24hr reception, wheelchair access, WiFi, classic bedrooms, restaurant and a bar. Dinner and overnight at Protea Hotel in kampala- FB.

Day 2: Entebbe to Lake Mburo.

After breakfast at the hotel, you will transfer to Lake Mburo National park whoich takes about 4hrs car drive. It is one of the smallest parks in Uganda but very green and beautiful with alot of wildlife.
Lake Mburo National Park is located in Uganda covering 370km2 of its total area. It is featured with rolling hills, seasonal & permanent swamps, and a forest which all support wildlife. The park also contains an extensive area of wetland and is a home to several species including birds, mammals. Game drive upon arrival and check in later at your lodge, depending on how you feel.
Mihingo Lodge is where you will be served with all meals and spend the night- FB.

Day 3: Lake Mburo National Park Tour.

Early morning nature walk in the park, walk with the beautiful animals in the wild, connect with nature at zero level, after head out for breakfast, have a mid-morning game drive, lunch and after lunch, have an epic boat safari and evening game drive.
Lake Mburo is the only park with elands, impalas and klipsringer. Moreover the park hosts a large population of zebra of about 5,000, also leopards, buffaloes, waterbucks, topi, warthogs, reedbucks, oribi, bush pigs and hyenas are available.

Mihingo Lodge is a luxurious lodge perched high on a rocky kopje with a swimming pool, restaurant where you can be served with menu, classic rooms for sleeping and a bar that serves drinks, it is where you will be served with all meals and spend the night- FB

Day 4: Lake Mburo to Bwindi Gorilla Trekking.

Today, you will go to the home of the mountain gorillas, enjoy the most scenic drive in Uganda, very green hills and farming terraces along the way, arrive in time of about 4hr car drive and enjoy the beautiful views of Bwindi. Bwindi Impenetrable forest national park is located in the Southwestern Uganda a home of highest populations of mountain gorillas. It is called impenetrable park because of the extreme thick tree canopies common in the forest that prevent sunlight from penetrating to the ground.
Mahogany springs Lodge is a Safari lodge which offers privacy and serenity blended with optimal comfort in a spectacular setting, it is where you shall enjoy all meals and spend the night- FB.

Day 5: Bwindi Gorilla Trekking.

This is the highlight of your safari, early morning breakfast, set off to the gorilla briefing point, you will be briefed on the do’s and don’ts while at the trek together with the ranger who will then lead you through the forest to find your gorilla family. Trek through the thick forest, spend 1 hour with these might giants enjoy them as you reconnect with nature.
Bwindi is the best gorilla trekking destination, the park has 11 habituated and several semi-habituated Gorilla groups. Other activities include nature walks and bird watching. After trek back and rest at your Lodge or opt for a pygmy trail walk to learn about the culture of the batwa people that used to stay inside the park before it was gazzeted as a national park.
Mahogany springs Lodge is where you will be taken for dinner and overnight- FB.

Day 6: Bwindi to Entebbe by Flight.

This is your last day in Bwindi, wake up early, enjoy your breakfast and set off by 7am. You are supposed to be at the Airport by 8:15, the transfer time from your lodge to the airfield takes about an hour. Enjoy your 1 hour flight from Kihihi to Entebbe international airport.
