10 Days Black Rhino Safari

Overview

With great pleasure I would like to share with you the beautiful destinations found in Tanzania. We are offering you a tented camping safari in the national parks for 10 days. The national parks include Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro, Serengeti and Tarangire which support wildlife.

Day By Day Itinerary

Day 1: Airport to Arusha City.

You will arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport. The driver will meet you there for your transfer to Arusha City. It will be a short journey that will take about 45minutes.
You and your properties will be taken to The Miliman Lodge spending your night or similar accommodation (BB)

Day 2: Mto Wa Mbu Cultural Heritage Site. (2 Nights)

The day will remark the commencement of the game drive safari in Mto Wa Mbu village. The distance from Arusha to Mto Wa Mbu does not exceed 120km.
Mto Wa Mbu Cultural Heritage Site, is the famous site in Arusha that has numerous activities done by the dwellers. Banana is one of the cash crop that is processed into Banana beer, enjoy the amazing taste of the traditional beer. There are a lot of cultural kind of art that will attract you, also the presence of 120 tribes in such a small area is what differentiates the area from others. It is also a home of ancient big baobab trees, enjoy local food during lunch.

Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park.

After the night hours, at 09:00Am you will have breakfast and after the trip to Lake Manyara will begin. The trip will be of about 15mins to reach the entrance gate, you will be given packed lunch that will be eaten as directed by the guide.
Lake Manyara National Park, is the famous park defined by the tree climbing lions. Along the roads and in the park you will see a number of baboons and monkeys which look friendly to people. The park does not hide creatures for you are able to watch bypassing elephants and antelopes. The lake shore is surrounded by plenty of flamingoes and numerous bird species.

(Tree top walking is an optional safari in the Park to those who want)

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater.

Early in the morning the trip will head to Ngorongoro crater with packed lunch and breakfast. When we reach there, we will conduct a full day game drive in the crater.
Ngorongoro Crater, is the main feature that makes a complete structure of the attractive landscape of Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The crater is filled by different small and big animals like lions, Black rhinos, elephants, and plenty of bird species. As per coverage area it has 30,000 hectares giving you a wide range of choices that will satisfy you.
The Safari will end at Rhino Lodge where you will be served with dinner and spend the night or similar accommodation (FB)

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater to Serengeti.

The safari will begin in the morning with packed lunch and breakfast to Serengeti National Park. While travelling you shall be able to see a number of attractive landscapes like swamps, rift valleys and forests which support wildlife.
Serengeti National Park, is the park that has offered game to a lot of visitors why should you miss this? A park with the largest area active with extensive acacia woodland savanna and presence of many migratory animal species like Zebra. It is the only park in Tanzania whose area has been divide and all the divided areas area occupied with wildlife. The divided areas are the northern, southern, central and western corridor of which they all offer active gaming respectively.

Day 6: Serengeti National Park.

In the morning you shall have packed lunch and breakfast then the trip will head to the southern corridor of Serengeti National Park.
The southern corridor, the area is famous for managing the great migration of thousands of wildebeests, lions and cheetahs. You can also see a large number of black rhinos, zebra, hyenas, elephants and gazelle including numerous bird species. The game safari will make you comfortable for you will have a guide to have an explanation of whatever in seen.

Day 7: Serengeti to Ngorongoro.

In the morning you shall have breakfast then the game drive will commence to Ngorongoro Crater with packed lunch.
After reaching Ngorongoro crater you shall have a walking Safari with a ranger and a guide for protection and clarification in the wilderness. The walking will give you time and space to see the closer view of animals and birds.

Day 8: Ngorongoro to Tarangire.

The beautiful morning will permit us to begin the safari from Ngorongoro to Tarangire National Park. In the mid of the journey we shall have a stop at Karatu for you to take lunch and after we shall proceed to Tarangire.
After reaching the area you will have a late afternoon game drive watching the attractive scenery of the park I a nutshell.
Dinner and overnight at Sangaiwe Tented Lodge. or similar accommodation (FB)

Day 9: Tarangire National Park.

In the morning you shall be served with breakfast and after the game drive will begin in Tarangire National Park with your lunch box. The game drive will be a full day having an observation and clarification from your guide in the scenery.
Tarangire National Park, is the park near Arusha City with a coverage of 2850sq km. It is famous for offering habitat to high density of animal like elephants, lions, leopards, rhino and buffaloes. Explore to this wilderness with an attractive landscape composed of river valleys and swamps.
You will be enjoying dinner and spend the night at Sangaiwe Tented Lodge or similar accommodation (FB)

Day 10: Tarangire to Arusha.

You shall have a comfortable morning shower and a relaxed breakfast from the lodge. After you shall be transferred to Arusha City by the driver guide. While in Arusha you shall have lunch at Shanga Restaurant, shopping around town to those willing to.
After those activities, it will remark the end of Safari and you shall be taken to the Airport for your outbound flight.
