You will have a grateful adventure of famous national parks within and outside of the country. We will offer you a 13days gaming safari in Arusha, Lake Manyara, Mkomazi and Serengeti National Park. The safari will also include Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Mto Wa Mbu Cultural Heritage Site and Usambara Mountains.
Day By Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival Day.
The airplane from your country will land safely at Kilimanjaro International Airport which is found in Kilimanjaro region. You will be met by the driver who will introduce himself and transfer you to Ilboru Safari Lodge.
Ilboru Safari Lodge is found in Arusha and offers world class hospitality to customers. You will be spending the night at the Lodge Or Similar Accommodation – (BB)
Day 2: Arusha National Park.
On this day you shall be served with breakfast then after a trip to Arusha National Park will begin. There will be packed lunch prepared for you as the gaming safari proceeds.
Arusha National Park, was established in 1960 as a protected area found in the north part of Tanzania. The park features the attractive landscapes which are Mount Meru, Momela Lake and Ngurdoto Crater. It is the only park in the northern circuit offering a golden chance to see the rare Colobus Monkeys. Apart from the waterfowls and flamingoes that are supported by the presence of Momela Lake, you can also find elephants, baboons, giraffes, hippopotamus, Zebra and Hyena.
You will descend to Ilboru Safari Lodge for dinner and overnight Or Similar Accommodation – (FB)
Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park.
After breakfast the game drive safari will commence to Lake Manyara National Park. It is a short safari to the entrance gate with a distance of 130km tarmac road.
Lake Manyara National Park, the protected area is administered by Tanzania National Park Authority. You want to observe the behavior of the tree climbing lion, don’t plan to miss the moments here in Lake Manyara. Its landscape structure surrounded by a rift valley escarpment wall which gives the park an attractive view. While in the park you will enjoy the game drive for you will be able to watch numerous animal, plant and bird species. It covers an area of 325sq km which support life to more than 2 million flamingoes, 350 bird species, wildebeests, impalas, baboons and monkeys.
The game drive will afterward end at Twiga Camp where you will get dinner and spend the night Or Similar Accommodation – (FB)
Day 4: Lake Manyara to Serengeti.
Early in the morning you will have a game drive en route to Serengeti National Park with packed breakfast and lunch. The park is 205km far from Manyara and is approx. 4hrs drive.
Serengeti National Park, is the park with the largest area in Tanzania of over 14,763sq km. The park is famous for having great annual animal migration in the world. The migration season varies from the north, south, west and central corridor in Serengeti. Over 1.5 million wildebeests. 250,00 Zebras and largest herds of lions migrate each year.
On the way you will enjoy seeing variety of birds, plants and animal species. You will camp for dinner and overnight at Serengeti Heritage Tented Camp found in Seronera Or Similar Accommodation – (FB)
Day 5: Full Day in Serengeti National Park.
You shall have breakfast then after have a full day game drive to the Western area in Serengeti with picnic lunch.
The western area is defined by the Grumeti river which also paves a way of migration of animals. The area of the river is bound by numerous reptiles and rare number of amphibia class of animals. Serengeti offers the most scintillating game-viewing of buffalo, smaller groups of elephant, giraffe, impala and gazelle.
At Serengeti Heritage Tented Camp is where you shall get dinner and spend the night. Or Similar Accommodation – (FB)
Day 6: Full Day Serengeti.
On this day we will surprise you with a full day game drive heading to the central Corridor in Serengeti with picnic lunch.
The central part is famously known as Seronera, where the Seronera river is found. While in Seronera, you will be able to see a large animal migration on the months of July to August. Apart from migration, the area is a home of leopards, baobab trees and towering acacia. Even when the migration is quiet, the Serengeti offers arguably the most scintillating game-viewing: great herds of buffalo, smaller groups of elephant and giraffe, and thousands upon thousands of eland, topi, hartebeest, impala and Grant’s gazelle.
Such attractive adventure at the center will end at the Serengeti Heritage Tented Camp where you will get dinner and spend the night Or Similar Accommodation – (FB)
Day 7: Serengeti to Ngorongoro.
You shall have a morning game drive in Serengeti then to Ngorongoro Conservation area via Ndutu area.
Ngorongoro Conservation Area, was established in 1959 administered by the Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority. It is found in the southeast of Serengeti covering an area of 8,292sq km featured by Ngorongoro Crater. The area also has an experienced moment of animal migration in the months of December to May.
The game drive will end at Farm of Dreams Lodge where you will be served with dinner and overnight. Or Similar Accommodation – (FB)
Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater.
You will be served with early breakfast then depart for a full day game drive in Ngorongoro Crater with packed lunch.
Ngorongoro Crater is one of the famous largest inactive and empty volcanic Caldera of all time. The rich volcanic soil, lush forests and lakes on the crater floor is an ideal environment for herbivores and predators, approximately 30,000 animals can be found in this enclosed caldera. Ngorongoro Crater is one of the preferred areas in Tanzania to see the endangered Black Rhino, the Big Five animals are also present living in close proximity to each other.
You shall be served with dinner and overnight at Farm of Dreams Lodge. Or Similar Accommodation – (FB)
Day 9: Mto Wa Mbu Cultural Heritage Site.
On this day you will have a Safari heading to Mto Wa Mbu. It will be a bit longer to reach the destination for a cultural tour then after depart to Tarangire.
Mto Wa Mbu Cultural Heritage Site, is found in Arusha specifically in Manyara region. Activities involve visiting Mto Wa Mbu village which is occupied with over 120 tribes with variety of number of native languages. You will get to see also presence of ancient baobab trees and their history, visit Miwaleni Waterfalls and have a test of Banana beer and its preparations.
It is at this point when you will be served with traditional lunch from the village then after the trip begin to Tarangire.
You will be served with dinner and spend the night at Tarangire Osupuko Lodge Or Similar Accommodation – (FB)
Day 10: Tarangire National Park.
In the morning you will have breakfast from the lodge then the full day game drive in Tarangire National Park will begin with your lunch box.
Tarangire National Park is found in the northern part of Tanzania specifically in Manyara region. It covers an area of approximately 2,850sq km. The name of the park originates from the Tarangire River that crosses the park which is the primary source of freshwater for wild animals during the annual dry season. You will see most popular animals like lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopard and much more.
You will be served with dinner and overnight at Tarangire Osupuko Lodge Or Similar Accommodation – (FB)
Day 11: Tarangire – Arusha to Mkomazi.
You shall be served with leisure breakfast then after a trip to Mkomazi National Park via Arusha will begin. A journey that covers a distance of about 342km with an apparent time of 7hrs:30mins.
The journey will end at Elephant Motel which is about 4miles from Mkomazi National Park.
Dinner and overnight will be at Jonson villa. Or Similar Accommodation – (FB)
Day 12: Mkomazi National Park.
In the morning you will have a full day game drive in Mkomazi National Park after breakfast with your packed lunch.
Mkomazi National Park occupies 3,500sq km of an area in northern Tanzania. The park was established in 1951 bound featured by Mount Kilimanjaro in northwest and Usambara Mountains in the south. There are plenty of animals in the wilderness like lions, cheetahs, impala, lesser kudu hartebeests, giraffes and eland. As well over 400 bird species like hornbills, guinea-fowls, weavers and doves can be seen.
The game drive will end at Jonson villa where you will be served with dinner and spend the night. Or Similar Accommodation – (FB)
Day 13: Mkomazi to Usambara Mountains.
This is the final day visiting the National Parks. After breakfast you shall be transferred from Mkomazi to Usambara mountains which takes about 5hrs.
You will visit local places whereby Mkomazi offers a visit to Panoramic viewpoint from the mountain side. Also you can visit the traditional pottery village and know the history and daily life of the Wasambara farmers.
You will be served with dinner and overnight at Muller’s Lodge. Or Similar Accommodation – (FB)
(Climbing the Mongo Mountain, the home of beautiful butterflies is an optional safari to those who want).
Day 14: Usambara Mountains.
After breakfast you will have a full day routine of different activities in Usambara mountains.
Usambara Mountains is covered by tropical rainforest that have been isolated for so long. It contains many plants and animal species and well defined as the paradise of birds. You will walk with a guide and visit the local caves, waterfalls and interact with local community.
At Muller’s Lodge is where you will be served with dinner and spend the night. Or Similar Accommodation – (HB)
Day 15: Departure Day.
You will have a leisure breakfast then after a trip to Dar Es Salaam will begin. After arriving in Dar Es Salaam you will be transferred to the Airport for your outbound flight.
